This extremely comfortable two-bedroomed Grade 2 listed cottage accommodates up to five people. It is on the edge of the historic village of Elsdon, within the Northumberland National Park in stunning scenery and only a short drive from a huge range of local attractions. Walking, riding, fishing, golf, bird watching and cycling are only some of the many activities available locally. We have secure storage next door to the cottage for bikes if you are bringing your own. We are also pet-friendly so bring your dogs to enjoy the many lovely walks in Northumberland.

Our friendly village pub is open from Thursday to Sunday (not doing food yet but excellent local beer!)  We are a ten-minute drive from a couple of pubs which do good pub grub; locally grown vegetables can be bought from George Jenning’s shop by Otterburn Mill and groceries from the Border Reiver which is also at Otterburn. There’s plenty of local shopping too at Bellingham and Rothbury, both of which have Tourist Information Centres.

It has been a wonderful stay for the second time. The cottage is as cosy as we remembered and the welcome just as warm as the last time.

Thank you for making it feel like home and not just a holiday place.  A week was not long enough!
